Starry Night Tea

I am not usually a big fan of fruit or herbal teas. I find most taste very similar and not a taste I've developed. I received a free sample tea bag of starry night tea with my Christmas order. I had low expectations and only tried it after Christmas when I was trying to make healthier choices with my food and drink. Wow .... I absolutely loved this tea from the first tentative sip. It has layers of flavours that give it a depth I've not experienced with any herbal teas before and a freshness I assume from the eucalyptus that was a refreshing suprise. After just one cup I wanted more, but as it's a seasonal item I found there were only a couple of packs of loose starry night tea left. I snapped them up and am rationing myself to make them last. But I can't wait until next Christmas when the tea bags will ( hopefully) be back in stock .. I know to stock up when I see them🙂

This is a well-crafted, balanced, delicious tea, and has easily become one of my favourites. The taste, to me, is mystical blackcurrant with subtle hints of lavender, citrus, and floral notes. Goes very well with orange blossom honey. Perfect before bed, or on a rainy day, snuggled up with good book.

I hope Bird & Blend continues this tea, they did amazing job.
